This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist Regional Partners and Account Executives with their sales and marketing initiatives.
β’ Solicit quotes from relevant vendors and distributors.
β’ Create customer quotes and oversee opportunities in Salesforce.com.
β’ Communicate with customers to foster relationships and expand the region.
β’ Engage with manufacturing partners, internal teams, and customers in a dynamic support setting.
β’ Aid in both new business and renewal processes within a quota-driven environment.
β’ Track regional opportunities and ensure precise forecasting reports in Salesforce.com.
β’ Collaborate with Marketing to plan and execute regional marketing events.
β’ Partner with vendors to sponsor events, send out invitations, and organize venues.
β’ Utilize Salesforce.com for quote generation, opportunity tracking, and order processing.
β’ Respond swiftly to inquiries from both internal and external sources.
β’ Propose pricing and payment solutions that align customer needs with pricing guidelines.
β’ Act as a liaison among customers, vendors, outside Sales Executives, Accounting, and Contracts Departments.
β’ Maintain knowledge of products, industry trends, vendor resources, and GuidePoint service offerings.
β’ Cultivate and maintain relationships with key vendors and customers.
β’ Participate in regional forecast calls and conduct pipeline analysis.
β’ Leverage resources and relationships to enhance customer value.
β’ Analyze data and make decisions that benefit GuidePoint Security.
β’ Optimize processes and share information with other GuidePoint teams while ensuring customer deliverables.
β’ A High School Diploma or GED is required.
β’ Minimum of 3 years in a customer service or sales support role.
β’ Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is mandatory.
β’ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet navigation.
β’ Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate margins, discounts, and percentages.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Capability to utilize AI-enabled tools.
β’ Flexibility to work a variable schedule.
β’ Willingness to travel regionally up to 15%.
β’ Ability to juggle multiple tasks with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
β’ An Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
β’ Background in the IT industry is preferred.
β’ Prior experience with Salesforce.com is preferred.
β’ Experience in technical sales/support and outbound calling is preferred.
β’ Ability to perform sedentary work.
β’ Capacity to execute significant wrist, hand, and/or finger movements for at least 8 hours each day.
β’ Close visual acuity for computer terminal viewing and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours daily.
β’ Primarily a remote workforce (U.S. based only; limited travel may be necessary for specific roles, and on-site work may be required for Federal positions).
