This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +2 more states.
• Oversee the execution of commercial operations, sales enablement, pricing governance, and operational support structures for designated commercial sales teams.
• Manage the lead-to-opportunity pipeline, ensuring compliance with commercial pricing, administration of commissions, and the infrastructure for sales analytics.
• Supervise adherence to pricing guidelines based on labor and material expenses, target gross margin limits, and the dynamics of the competitive market.
• Administer pricing authority matrices, exception workflows, and approval processes for non-standard quotes, custom project proposals, and unique contract conditions.
• Perform analyses on margin contributions, lifetime value, and discounts to monitor deal profitability.
• Collaborate with marketing and commercial sales leaders to monitor, enhance, and support workflows for lead-to-opportunity generation.
• Evaluate the sales pipeline to pinpoint conversion bottlenecks, oversee lead-nurturing processes, and track sales velocity.
• Provide sales enablement resources, process enhancements, and standard operating procedures to bolster sales efficiency and pipeline conversion.
• Create, maintain, and distribute dashboards for sales performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Coordinate cycles for sales forecasting and provide quantitative data analysis along with pipeline trend summaries to sales leadership.
• Oversee CRM system utilization, user access, data integrity protocols, and conduct regular data hygiene audits.
• Calculate and manage monthly and quarterly sales commissions and incentive programs in collaboration with finance and accounting teams.
• Support quota allocation evaluations, territory alignments, and documentation of commission plans while addressing inquiries related to sales compensation.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience are required.
• Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of relevant professional experience for each year of college requested.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales operations, commercial finance, business analytics, or sales enablement in a B2B service environment is required.
• Proven experience in administering sales commission structures, CRM platforms (such as HubSpot, Dynamics 365, or Salesforce), and pricing governance workflows is required.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications (like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) for financial modeling, pivot tables, and dataset analysis is required.
• Practical experience with business intelligence visualization software (such as Power BI or Tableau) and pipeline forecasting models is preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with a practical grasp of gross margin mechanics, pricing frameworks, and sales funnel dynamics.
• Technical expertise in CRM administration, relational database management, and business analytics visualization tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clearly presenting performance insights to commercial leadership and addressing compensation inquiries.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities to manage concurrent pricing reviews, commission schedules, and CRM data audits.
• Strong interpersonal and consulting abilities to collaborate effectively across sales, marketing, finance, and human resources teams.
