This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the Sales Operations team focusing on contracting and deal support.
• Convert business priorities into team objectives, resource plans, and daily work directives.
• Oversee the shared case queue, tracking volume, assignments, aging, backlog, and turnaround times.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Onboarding leaders to enhance client acquisition and retention.
• Manage proposal creation, contracting, and order processing, including updates, amendments, approvals, and order entry.
• Work alongside Finance, Legal, and Continuous Improvement to optimize, scale, and automate workflows.
• Maintain team reporting and operational metrics utilizing dashboards and data analysis.
• Monitor performance indicators and leverage insights to inform decisions and prioritize tasks.
• Employ AI-enabled tools to organize queue data, summarize reports, and highlight patterns or exceptions.
• Act as an escalation point for intricate tasks, competing priorities, and operational trade-offs.
• Facilitate prioritization discussions that align with business requirements, stakeholder expectations, and team capacity.
• Assist in change management for new workflows, services, or operational models.
• Foster team engagement in a remote setting through regular one-on-one meetings and team gatherings.
• Contribute to cross-functional planning that impacts client operations and service delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in customer support, operations, or a similar operational role.
• Capability to work West Coast business hours.
• Previous people management experience is essential.
• Proven track record in coaching, developing, and holding a team accountable during periods of change and ambiguity.
• Strong relationship-building abilities to support internal stakeholders with conflicting priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Robust analytical skills with the capacity to interpret data, create reports, and translate findings into actionable steps.
• Experience in handling large data sets and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel.
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ is a must.
• Ability to work core West Coast business hours and collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
• Comfortable utilizing AI-supported tools to enhance productivity, analyze operational data, and inform workflow decisions.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% annually.
