Sales Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist the Great Lakes Regional Manager in advocating for ACH Seeds / Crystal Brand Sugarbeet Seed within the Michigan Sugar cultivation sector.

• Take time to build relationships with the Crystal Brand Sales Leader, Sales Operations, Sales IT, and Marketing teams.

• Visit the research facility located in Shakopee.

• Support regional sales and marketing initiatives, including events.

• Collaborate with Independent Sales Agents.

• Organize premium items and manage the selection process for the Homegrown Giving program.

• Participate in farmer, youth, staff appreciation events, golf outings, field days, county fairs, festivals, tours, and cooperator appreciation events.

• Contribute to the ACH Seed Strip Trial Program by assisting with planting, stand counts, soil sampling, tissue sampling, monitoring, evaluation, and organizing agronomic data.

• Aid in Sugarbeet Advancement Trials through stand counts, monitoring, and evaluation.

• Oversee and assess Michigan Sugar Official Variety Trials.

• Conduct field visits, scouting, and crop sampling alongside Michigan Sugar agriculturists.

• Sign locations for strip trials.

• Provide materials to Independent Sales Agents.

• Assist with placing and tracking field signs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in the Michigan beet cultivation region.

• Major in an agricultural field.

• Familiarity with agriculture and farming is advantageous.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Proficient in using computer hardware and software, including all Microsoft Office applications.

• Comfortable utilizing social media platforms.

• Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
