This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer technical direction and assistance to both prospective and existing clients throughout the Southeast US region.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and channel partners on regional sales initiatives.
• Define, suggest, design, and showcase security-focused solutions that align with customer requirements and financial plans.
• Investigate technical prerequisites and communicate business value and technical benefits to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Oversee proof-of-concept projects from deployment and configuration to user training and technical problem resolution.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for account research, competitive analysis, technical documentation, RFP responses, and follow-up communications.
• Foster partner self-sufficiency and promote partner-led opportunities.
• Assist customers in enhancing the implementation and integration of Menlo Security products.
• Provide feedback on customer account and field activities to Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams.
• Keep up-to-date account records using AI-generated call summaries and CRM enhancements.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of pre-sales experience in the computer networking or security domain.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with web proxy technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and HTTP/SSL proxies.
• Strong grasp and practical experience with network engineering fundamentals, including the OSI model, IPv4/6, routing, switching, DNS, VLANs, and subnetting.
• Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with email security and mail flow.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred experience in malware analysis, sandboxing, host-based forensics, and Windows internals.
• Preferred background in network forensics, including packet capture and analysis.
• Incident response experience, including workflow procedures, evidence collection, and chain of custody management is preferred.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM, LDAP/RADIUS/TACACS+, two-factor authentication, VMware, Citrix, and VDI is preferred.
• Knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools, malware families, and AV/IDS/IPS evasion techniques is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Menlo Security competitors is preferred.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted sales and productivity tools is preferred.
• AI-assisted tools across the sales cycle to minimize administrative tasks.
