This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Lead and nurture a team of Regional Sales Managers and Area Sales Representatives.
• Facilitate the achievement of commercial goals through effective sales leadership, talent development, territory and account management, budget oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with the VP of Sales to execute strategies and tactics that align with commercial objectives.
• Formulate and propose sales plans for designated RSMs and ASRs.
• Oversee the management of assigned sales budgets, quotas, and expenses.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and manage RSMs and ASRs.
• Suggest account coverage, territory alignment, and sales team geographical distribution.
• Collaborate with Marketing and functional leaders to establish relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Organize training and development initiatives for both existing and newly hired sales team members.
• Create and execute sales programs.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to address the needs of the Sales team.
• Implement strategies and tactics for new product launches in conjunction with Marketing.
• Stay informed about disease states, market dynamics, competition, and the healthcare landscape.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and AdvaMed regulations.
• Collaborate with the VP of Sales and other functional leaders to provide Sales leadership, resources, and support.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the medical device field is required.
• Experience in Oncology or Interventional Radiology is highly preferred.
• At least 5+ years of proven sales management experience within the medical device sector is required.
• Demonstrated capability to lead, coach, and develop sales professionals.
• Ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals and internal business partners.
• Proven initiative, judgment, and resourcefulness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Potential exposure to radiation.
• Ability to lift weights of up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%–65%, including occasional weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
• A current valid driver’s license is essential.
