Sales Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and disseminate sales reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses that monitor pipeline activity, customer trends, and sales performance.

• Extract and transform data from Salesforce, data lakes, warehouse systems, and business intelligence platforms.

• Conduct regular data audits and validation checks to discover gaps and inconsistencies.

• Collaborate with Retail, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Bid, IT, and other teams to grasp reporting requirements and resolve data issues.

• Provide timely insights.

• Document reporting procedures.

• Assist in tool maintenance.

• Enhance the methods for data creation and sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a closely related discipline.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including Power Query.

• Experience utilizing a CRM such as Salesforce.

• Practical experience with a business intelligence tool like Power BI or a similar platform.

• Proven ability to audit, validate, and sustain data accuracy across reporting workflows.

• Reliable home office setup.

• Self-motivated work habits.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting sales operations or collaborating with sales and marketing teams.

• Preferred: Knowledge of data lake environments or enterprise data extraction processes.

• Preferred: Experience in documenting reporting processes or aiding tool migrations.
