This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Oversee Spotlight’s on-site boutique during events.
• Set up and dismantle pop-up retail spaces.
• Ensure the store is organized, visually appealing, and well-stocked.
• Precisely count, reconcile, manage a cash drawer, and report any discrepancies.
• Achieve city-specific sales targets through suggestive selling, multiple product sales, and upselling techniques.
• Carry out post-event inventory to aid in restocking and maintaining accurate quantities.
• Utilize the POS system for transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Foster enduring relationships with clients and customers.
• Deliver knowledgeable and friendly service that aligns with Spotlight’s customer experience standards.
• Comprehend and adhere to Spotlight Dance Cup procedures and guidelines to accurately address inquiries.
• Assist with stage setup once boutique responsibilities are completed.
• Provide support for truck loading and unloading as necessary.
• Previous customer service, retail, or boutique sales experience is essential.
• Prior experience in customer service or retail is mandatory.
• Knowledge of merchandising is helpful and preferred.
• Experience in dance, theater, or live event environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with dance or performing arts is advantageous.
• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are required.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills are necessary.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and positivity in high-energy environments.
• Must live within a reasonable distance from a U.S. international airport or hub.
• Willingness to travel frequently during the event season from January to July.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and set up equipment.
• Comfortable sharing hotel accommodations with same-gender colleagues during events.
• New or first-year event staff must participate in an audition and training session in Eagle, Idaho.
• Availability to work early mornings or late evenings.
• Ability to attend approximately 6–10 regional events annually and potentially 1–2 national events.

• Mock training: Spotlight covers flights, transport, lodging, and meals for the audition and training session in Eagle, Idaho.
