Sales Application Engineer – East US

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Generate and cultivate new business relationships with potential customers in the assigned territory.

• Oversee key accounts for significant existing clients.

• Acquire new customers for the sensor product line across industrial, medical, and transportation sectors.

• Introduce new products in collaboration with product management and development teams.

• Maintain direct communication with customers and manage ongoing relationships.

• Offer technical support to clients.

• Comprehend sensor applications and customer needs.

• Boost sales by nurturing existing customer accounts, enhancing business partnerships, and establishing new business connections.

• Become a trusted advisor to key clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics, or a similar level of successful experience as a developer, product manager, applications engineer, or technical sales representative in the sensor field.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within the sensor industry.

• Proven expertise in selling pressure or flow sensors or sensor components.

• Familiarity with sales tracking software.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills.

• Capability to address commercial and technical objections from prospective clients/customers.

• Proficient in problem-solving and managing various variables.

• Willingness to work hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.

• Must reside in the United States.
