This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Facilitate certification training for equipment operators and general safety training for clients and, to a lesser degree, employees through both instructor-led and virtual formats.
• Publish schedules for public training classes on SBR’s training platform on a rolling calendar basis of three months.
• Deliver private training sessions at SBR branch locations or at customer sites.
• Maintain training records within the company’s systems of record.
• Initiate the issuance of customer wallet cards within 24 hours following class completion.
• Acquire knowledge of new adult training methodologies and courses related to safety topics.
• Keep training and equipment operator certifications up to date.
• Conduct Train the Trainer courses for clients.
• Enhance productivity by maximizing class attendance and optimizing scheduling.
• Support sales teams in securing safety training opportunities and expanding the Safety Training business.
• Collaborate with Marketing Support to develop flyers and promotional materials.
• Mentor and coach Certified Evaluators.
• Provide practical evaluations of equipment to customers who have completed online courses and written assessments.
• Assist District and Regional Managers in onboarding and training new trainers and Certified Evaluators.
• Counsel Sunbelt employees and clients on safety concerns and standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with heavy equipment and relevant certifications (MEWP, Forklift, Earth Moving).
• Comprehensive understanding of industry safety standards, practices, and regulations.
• Knowledge and experience with adult learning techniques.
• Reliable, organized, self-motivated, and proactive.
• Customer-service oriented with a focus on providing solutions.
• Willingness and ability to travel; overnight travel may be necessary (10%-15%).
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be capable of bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds or more, as the job requires.
• All responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines.
• Preferred bilingual proficiency in Spanish or French.
• Preferred experience with a Learning Management System (LMS).
