Safety Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform routine on-site safety inspections and audits at client work locations.

• Detect hazards and propose corrective measures.

• Create and conduct safety training sessions and toolbox discussions.

• Assist clients in achieving and sustaining compliance with OSHA regulations.

• Aid in the execution of safety programs, policies, and procedures.

• Draft written reports summarizing findings and suggestions.

• Work collaboratively with client management and field personnel to foster a safety-first environment.

• Participate in incident investigations and aid in the development of corrective action plans.

• Keep updated on regulatory changes and industry-leading practices.

• Provide consulting services to clients in a client-facing capacity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in occupational safety, ideally in a consulting or multi-client setting.

• OSHA 30 certification (Construction).

• In-depth understanding of OSHA regulations, safety management systems, and hazard identification.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety reporting software.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary (local or regional).

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Remote position serving southwestern Ohio, northern Kentucky, and southeastern Indiana regions.

• 20% travel requirement outside of the State of Ohio.
