Safety Manager – Nordics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take charge of daily site safety across all contractors and activities.

• Enforce Volta's safety standards and management system at the site.

• Conduct inductions, inspections, and audits with a disciplined approach.

• Oversee contractor safety performance and visibly maintain standards.

• Lead the response to incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.

• Report on leading and lagging indicators with honesty and punctuality.

• Ensure adherence to Nordic safety regulations.

• Mentor site teams and foster authentic safety ownership.

• Establish the site's safety culture alongside the Project Delivery Manager.

• Implement fleet standards on site and report with full transparency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Essential construction safety experience on data centers or significant projects.

• A valid safety qualification such as NEBOSH or an equivalent certification.

• Proven track record of managing contractor safety on active sites.

• Composed and credible incident management skills.

• The ability to influence on-site behavior consistently.

• Willingness to be stationed in the Nordics during the project delivery phase.
