Russian Remote Interpretation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary pertinent to the industry you are interpreting for, particularly in healthcare and medical contexts.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages, ensuring no additions, omissions, or substitutions occur.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the interpreting process.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and complete interpretation of messages.

• Uphold established standards of practice.

• Engage in internal professional training sessions.

• Demonstrate a willingness to pursue new professional certifications.

• Maintain communication and provide reports to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Georgian."

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications within the healthcare sector are beneficial (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Possess high emotional intelligence and a tolerance for diverse cultures.

• Exhibit strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
