RPA Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement RPA bots utilizing industry-leading platforms.

• Examine business processes to pinpoint automation possibilities within JTMS workflows.

• Generate process definition documents (PDDs) and solution design documents (SDDs).

• Create and sustain automation scripts and workflows adhering to RPA best practices.

• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of RPA solutions.

• Track bot performance and execute enhancements for reliability and efficiency.

• Collaborate with business analysts, system administrators, and stakeholders to collect requirements.

• Document automation processes, technical specifications, and user manuals.

• Aid in the maintenance and enhancement of existing automation solutions.

• Engage in code reviews and adhere to development standards.

• Facilitate the deployment of bots to production environments.

• Provide basic support and troubleshooting for implemented automation solutions.

• Support the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) program by automating transportation and logistics processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Must possess an active Secret clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in RPA development or related automation technologies.

• Basic programming skills in Python, C#, VB.NET, or Java.

• Understanding of the RPA lifecycle and best practices.

• Familiarity with process analysis and workflow design.

• Knowledge of fundamental database concepts and SQL queries.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to quality.

• Capability to work efficiently in a team setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Automate is preferred.

• RPA certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile SAFe methodologies is desirable.

• Experience with SAP and agility layers (e.g., Mendix) is advantageous.

• Knowledge of API integration and web services is beneficial.

• Experience with OCR and document processing is a plus.

• Understanding of transportation or logistics business processes is a plus.

• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and Intelligent Automation is advantageous.

• Knowledge of the .NET framework or Python scripting is a plus.
