Route Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver products to clients and promote additional items, such as displays and endcaps, to enhance sales opportunities.

• Build and sustain relationships with current and prospective customers.

• Organize and implement daily route schedules while servicing all assigned accounts.

• Load products at the warehouse on a daily basis and manage inventory levels for both the truck and customers.

• Comply with safety, Fleet, and DOT regulations.

• Maintain daily communication with the District Manager regarding sales, opportunities, and operational updates.

• Perform routine inspections of company vehicles and report any major maintenance concerns.

• Upload and relay daily sales transactions using handheld devices.

• Ensure stores comply with planograms and maintain displays in line with company standards.

• Make end-of-day reports to the District Manager.

• Engage in store resets and special projects as required.

• Execute other assigned tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (preferably with post-secondary education).

• Experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD).

• Capability to work independently, plan efficiently, and make informed business decisions without direct supervision.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to operate a DOT-certified truck measuring up to 16 feet in length.

• Clean driving history.

• Capacity to pass and maintain a DOT Medical Physical and DOT Medical Card with a minimum one-year renewal.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational skills and effective time management.

• Understanding of sales strategies and inventory control.

• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as necessary.
