This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide maintenance support for MEP/Avionics to ensure ISR operations are sustained.
• Configure and oversee satellite hub operations to maintain connectivity and continuous operational support.
• Operate and maintain ISR sensors, including FMV/FLIR, SIGINT, SAR, and BLoS systems.
• Diagnose and repair avionics systems such as communications, navigation, autopilot, weather radar, transponders, and glass cockpit systems.
• Support CONUS or OCONUS collection missions during training or deployment rotations.
• Utilize electronic test equipment, including multimeters, power meters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and TMDE.
• Conduct maintenance operations for special mission systems in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and networks, providing effective resolutions.
• Install, implement, and configure mission systems as required.
• Install avionics components and wiring in accordance with STCs, wiring diagrams, and drawings.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports, findings, and recommendations.
• Participate in design reviews, integration testing, and system validation activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and partners as necessary.
• Follow company policies, procedures, standards, and requirements related to safety, environmental concerns, security, housekeeping, and training.
• Operate special-purpose and regular vehicles as authorized.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Report directly to the Lead Mechanic.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Airframe & Powerplant certificate is preferred.
• A minimum of four (4) years of recent experience in general aviation is required.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Experience with Airborne ISR Mission Systems is essential.
• Capability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in using computers and aircraft software.
• Must pass a background check successfully.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment and active-employment drug screenings.
• Currently possess or be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance, or higher.
• An Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with DCMA 8210 & FGOP is an advantage.
• Experience with Cessna 337 Skymaster is preferred.
• Experience with Garmin G5, Garmin 430, and 530 is preferred.
• Sensor manufacturer certification (L3 Wescam or FLIR) for depot-level sensor maintenance is a plus.
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary, depending on mission requirements.
• Opportunities for training and deployment rotation work.
• Leave without pay (LWOP) during periods without training or deployments, unless authorized by Management.
