RNBS Per Diem Faculty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Deliver educational activities that encompass didactic, clinical, and mentoring components.

• Conduct effective classroom instruction utilizing suitable instructional technologies while ensuring that course objectives are achieved.

• Collaborate on the development, implementation, and assessment of the curriculum.

• Plan, oversee, and provide clinical instruction in laboratory, simulation, and real-world healthcare environments.

• Mentor and guide students in both academic and professional development aspects.

• Supervise doctoral candidates in their dissertation and/or clinical inquiry projects.

• Engage in scholarly activities commensurate with faculty rank.

• As an Assistant Professor or higher within the practice mission, showcase clinical proficiency while participating in inquiry and scholarship.

• As an Assistant Professor or higher within the research mission, develop a research program, write grant proposals, seek funding, and promote inquiry within the School of Nursing.

• Participate in committees, professional activities, campus initiatives, faculty governance, and strategic projects as assigned.

• Provide additional services as directed by the supervisor to support teaching, research, patient care, outreach, and public service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Lecturer: BSN.

• Instructor: MSN or equivalent.

• Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor: PhD/DNP or equivalent.

• Valid Oregon RN license.

• Current licensure and certifications may be required depending on the position and academic program.

• Submit a CV that includes the months and years for each employment and educational experience.

• Provide a cover letter addressing both minimum and preferred qualifications.

• Submit a statement detailing teaching, research, and scholarship interests, as well as alignment with the OHSU mission.
