RN Virtual Health Triage Nurse – Part time, 3rd Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Manage and prioritize incoming calls to St. Elizabeth Physicians practices.

• Conduct medical triage following established protocols and provide the necessary guidance.

• Coordinate patient appointments in alignment with protocols.

• Align physician/clinician availability with patient date and time preferences utilizing both manual and computerized systems.

• Engage with physicians, clinicians, staff, patients, providers, support employees, co-workers, and management regarding patient inquiries and scheduling matters.

• Ensure that the Electronic Health Record contains complete and accurate information.

• Adhere to scheduling and release-of-medical-information protocols, including OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA regulations.

• Contribute to the development of protocols, procedures, patient education, and training initiatives.

• Take part in peer review, quality assurance, and committee activities.

• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary Virtual Health teams to ensure safe, timely, effective, and efficient patient care.

• Engage in Virtual Health projects, providing guidance on care, best practices, and piloting new initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within one hour of Erlanger, KY to be eligible.

• Possess an active, unencumbered multistate (compact) RN nursing license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state, specifically Kentucky, Indiana, or Ohio.

• Required to obtain an Ohio and Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license within 30 days of hire.

• Minimum requirement: Associate Degree in Nursing.

• At least 3 years of RN experience.

• Ability to manage and prioritize various tasks effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic Health Records, specifically EPIC.

• Proficient in using Perfect Serve for provider communications.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the capability to learn additional computer skills as necessary.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
