RN Informatics Specialist – IT Training and Informatics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Oversee and finalize application projects

• Recognize and manage opportunities for improvement, enhancements, and redesign to achieve increased efficiency

• Deliver advanced-level support and assist other analysts as necessary

• Execute application implementation through comprehensive analysis, design, testing, and evaluation

• Work in conjunction with clinical operations personnel and department leaders to identify and prioritize areas of need

• Conduct or engage in systems workflow analysis and evaluation to enable process re-engineering

• Contribute to the design and development processes for new applications and upgrades to existing systems

• Formulate system test plans, generate test data, and assess results with user departments and others

• Analyze, test, and showcase models with design alternatives to fulfill departmental workflow requirements

• Advocate for technology to improve patient care through education, role modeling, quality improvement, and program development

• Offer operational ITS systems support and troubleshoot application issues

• Provide troubleshooting assistance and engage the necessary resources to resolve issues

• Offer consultative services to users and the implementation team regarding the impact on workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school is mandatory

• Bachelor’s degree is essential

• Current NH licensure as a Registered Nurse

• Vendor-required certification in good standing (or proficiency if accepted by the vendor) for the applications/modules the employee is designated to support

• If not currently certified (or proficient), the employee must achieve this within 6 months from their Date of Hire (DOH) or Date of Transfer (DOT) into a position that necessitates certification (proficiency)

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience is required

• Must be able to work the 8-5 work shift
