Risk Solutions Consultant – New England

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform technical evaluations and loss analysis for potential or current policyholders.

• Identify and assess risks and control measures.

• Provide consultative or technical services to policyholders.

• Conduct field surveys for both prospective and existing policyholders, and compile reports for underwriting.

• Execute loss analysis.

• Develop and implement impactful service solutions.

• Create and follow up on critical recommendations.

• Build strong relationships with underwriting teams and agency partners.

• Engage in underwriting pipeline, new business, and renewal meetings to offer insights on Risk Solutions concerning exposure and controls.

• Articulate ideas or positions effectively to foster support, agreement, and commitment.

• Enhance the quality of work products, productivity, timeliness, collaboration, and introduce innovative ideas for efficiency improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Risk Solutions/Loss Control within a commercial lines national or regional insurance carrier.

• Preferred B.S. degree in a related field such as health and safety, science, engineering, or equivalent.

• Self-motivated individual with proven initiative; capable of working independently with little guidance.

• Strong to exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.

• Preferred professional loss control certifications, including CSP, CFPS, CIH, PE, CPCU, or ARM.

• Strong to exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven project management skills.

• Capacity to operate in a dynamic environment with multiple projects, tasks, or assignments.

• Results-driven mentality.

• Proficient in using a personal computer and other standard office equipment.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Capability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods.

• Ability to navigate customer buildings and facilities.

• Capacity to climb ladders to various heights while maintaining balance during work tasks.
