This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Report to the Project Manager, Joint Project Team, and Client Project Manager throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Oversee the refresh and continuous management of the Tranche 0 risk register, assisting with other programme tranches as necessary.
• Lead monthly risk review meetings and facilitate risk workshops.
• Create meeting minutes and risk dashboards that highlight significant changes and trends.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage risks and opportunities.
• Aid in the development of effective mitigation strategies.
• Conduct thorough reviews of risk registers with project teams.
• Track mitigation actions and monitor the progress of risk reduction across the programme.
• Support Quantitative Risk Analysis, which includes schedule risk analysis, cost risk analysis, and quarterly risk modelling and reporting.
• Collaborate with Change Management teams to capture and evaluate programme impacts.
• Lead assumptions management and maintain the Master Data & Assumptions List.
• Provide strategic risk reporting and outline risk exposure across programme timelines and activities.
• Foster relationships with project teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, schedule, and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to programme, Client, and infrastructure governance processes and procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and risk management processes.
• Proven experience in managing risk on large infrastructure, defence, engineering, or construction programmes.
• Capability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and deliver strategic risk insights.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and leadership.
• Experience in facilitating risk workshops, reviews, and mitigation planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and risk management tools.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
• Membership in a professional body is desirable.
• This is an umbrella contractor role.
• SC Clearance is required to commence work.
• Expected to work 3 days per week on-site.
