Risk Intelligence Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage a team of fraud analysts tasked with investigating new threats and addressing fraud incidents.

• Recruit, mentor, and oversee performance management for fraud analysts, bridging skill gaps and serving as a resource for complex investigations and emerging threats.

• Own and enhance standards, playbooks, and tools for incident response, case reviews, merchant onboarding, decision transparency, and rule creation.

• Convert investigative insights into actionable recommendations for business and customer outcome teams.

• Act as the representative for Risk Intelligence in cross-functional projects.

• Collaborate with leaders from various business units, Data Science, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to transform fraudulent behaviors into signals, features, and improvements to models.

• Assist in customer discussions as a fraud expert, clarifying risk decisions and effective practices.

• Guide analysts in effectively communicating risk insights and presenting confidently to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of direct management experience, including coaching and performance oversight, with a proven ability to build a successful team.

• More than 5 years of experience in ecommerce, payments, fraud prevention, or risk management, specifically in fraud investigations and response to emerging threats.

• Strong analytical judgment, capable of balancing fraud losses with customer experience and intelligent risk-taking.

• Experience in developing operational standards, playbooks, and workflows, along with a commitment to enhancing team efficiency.

• Excellent communication skills for presenting to a diverse audience of technical, business, and customer stakeholders.

• Robust cross-functional experience collaborating with data science, customer success, product, or engineering teams.
