This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Conduct risk evaluations at workplace and work sites while providing consultative risk enhancement services for large and/or special accounts.
• Deliver risk assessment data on intricate accounts to facilitate underwriting for prospective, new, and renewal accounts.
• Present Risk Control recommendations along with business solutions aimed at minimizing identified exposures.
• Evaluate customers’ risk control program requirements and create and implement tailored strategies and execution plans.
• Advise on the development and enforcement of risk control policies, along with marketing and business strategy.
• Build and sustain relationships with both internal and external business partners.
• Create and deliver education, training, and presentations.
• Offer specialized expertise to internal and external clients.
• Spot opportunities for or create new products and services.
• Conduct visits to agencies/brokers, discuss account or book-of-business matters, and promote CNA products and services.
• Undertake special projects and other assigned responsibilities.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Professional designations are preferred.
• Generally, a minimum of five to eight years of risk control experience with a proven history of success.
• Advanced expertise in technical and product-specific areas.
• Skills in risk control evaluation and assessment.
• Understanding of insurance and risk control principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Capability to interact effectively with internal and external business partners at all levels.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills across multiple assignments.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to handle ambiguous situations and issues.
• Creative approach in addressing unique and challenging business problems.
• Proactive and long-term perspective on business goals and objectives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
