Risk Based Study Management Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive risk oversight for designated clinical studies.

• Lead and uphold study-specific risk assessments for assigned sponsor studies.

• Facilitate and preside over cross-functional risk review meetings.

• Foster proactive identification, discussion, and documentation of study-related risks.

• Collaborate with the Clinical Research Manager and study team on oversight and mitigation strategies.

• Analyze centralized monitoring outputs, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and trends to identify emerging or systemic risks.

• Assist in issue escalation, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation planning.

• Ensure risk-based activities are in alignment with established principles and sponsor expectations.

• Support inspection readiness through clear documentation and defensible oversight decisions.

• Background in clinical trial operations, study management, monitoring, or centralized oversight.

• Strong grasp of risk-based monitoring and study management principles.

• Familiarity with ICH-GCP, regulatory standards, and quality frameworks.

• Exceptional facilitation skills with the confidence to lead cross-functional discussions.

• Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data, trends, and signals.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with sponsors and the ICON team.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
