Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct risk analysis studies, which include assessing underwriting information and determining coverage placement, along with loss forecasting and analysis.

• Gather and evaluate claims data to facilitate renewal discussions.

• Verify the precision of policies, amendments/endorsements, audits, and other relevant documents.

• Support clients and carriers with daily requests for policies, endorsements, audits, certificates, auto ID cards, accounting/billing matters, and claims/loss control coordination.

• Collaborate with the Client Executive and/or Client Manager during marketing initiatives.

• Develop applications, submissions, proposals, presentations, and service plans tailored for clients.

• Participate in and lead carrier meetings/functions as needed.

• Uphold confidentiality while adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in areas such as Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or equivalent experience of 0 to 2 years in commercial insurance.

• Familiarity with business office practices and procedures.

• Capability to prioritize work tasks and manage time efficiently.

• Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

• Demonstrated responsibility and focus under pressure.

• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities.

• Participate in mandatory training sessions and courses to keep skills and licensing current.
