
Risk Analyst – Risk and Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assist in the coordination of the centralized insurance program as directed by the System Director, Insurance.
• Aid in managing loss prevention strategies and initiatives for programs and facilities.
• Contribute to strategic planning related to risk assumption, risk transfer, and loss prevention activities that encompass both physician and non-clinical risks.
• Help gather underwriting information for renewals of captive, reinsurance, physician, and commercial insurance policies, as well as bonds.
• Maintain a record of historical underwriting data.
• Support risk evaluation processes and assist in the onboarding of physicians into the captive.
• Keep databases updated for insured entities, properties, vehicles, drivers, and physicians within the risk management information system.
• Organize schedules for insurance policies, premiums, and policy summaries.
• Manage the processing and tracking of invoices, premium payments, and returns.
• Coordinate certificate requests with facilities, practice managers, real estate, finance, human resources, and other internal departments.
• Participate in special projects and provide assistance as required.
• Associate's Degree in Risk Management, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
• CPHRM certification is required within four years of hiring.
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare provision or administration, insurance, loss prevention, or a related field, or a combination of post-secondary education and experience in lieu of a degree.
