This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the coordination of the centralized insurance program under the guidance of the System Director, Insurance.
• Aid in activities related to risk assumption, risk transfer, and loss prevention for both physician and non-clinical risks.
• Gather underwriting information for captive, reinsurance, physician, commercial insurance policy renewals, and bonds.
• Maintain a record of historical underwriting data.
• Support the assessment of risks and facilitate physician onboarding into the captive.
• Manage databases containing information on insured entities, properties, vehicles, drivers, physicians, and pertinent records within the risk management information system.
• Keep insurance schedules, policies, premiums, and summaries up to date.
• Handle and monitor invoices, premium payments, and premium returns.
• Coordinate certificate requests with facilities, practice managers, real estate, finance, human resources, and other internal departments.
• Participate in special projects and provide assistance as required.
• Associate's Degree in Risk Management, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare provision or administration, insurance, loss prevention, or a related field, or a combination of post-secondary education and experience in place of a degree.
• CPHRM certification within 4 years of hire.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
• Preferred: Over 3 years of experience in healthcare provision or administration, insurance, loss prevention, or a related field.
• Preferred: CPCU, ARM, or similar professional certifications.
