This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Identify, evaluate, quantify, oversee, and communicate project risks and opportunities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with project leadership, estimating, scheduling, preconstruction, and operations teams.
• Support the Michels Risk Management Framework and facilitate risk-informed decision-making.
• Lead risk review sessions.
• Aid in conducting quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses.
• Create three-point estimates.
• Align risks with cost accounts and scheduling activities.
• Assist in performing uncertainty, correlation, sensitivity, and Monte Carlo analyses.
• Prepare risk dashboards, heat maps, trend reports, and executive-level presentations.
• Monitor mitigation efforts and emerging exposures.
• Contribute to the enhancement of risk management procedures, tools, training, metrics, and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, finance, business analytics, economics, or a related discipline; equivalent education and pertinent experience may be accepted.
• 2–5 years of experience in project risk management, project controls, estimating, scheduling, preconstruction, cost analysis, construction operations, or a similar field.
• Preferred experience supporting large or complex construction, infrastructure, energy, utility, transportation, marine, or industrial projects.
• Understanding of project cost, scheduling, and risk concepts, including contingency and uncertainty.
• Preferred experience in developing or supporting quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses.
• Familiarity with three-point estimating, Monte Carlo simulation, uncertainty modeling, correlation, and sensitivity analysis is preferred.
• Ability to analyze project data and communicate key risk drivers, mitigation progress, emerging exposures, and potential impacts on project objectives.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Safran Risk Manager is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across project teams and leadership.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for project meetings, risk workshops, and training sessions.
