This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
• Oversee internal systems, external data, and open-source resources to identify potential security threats.
• Conduct initial assessments and triage incidents to evaluate their impact on personnel, assets, or operations.
• Relay physical security and safety incidents to partners with promptness and precision.
• Assist with research, administrative tasks, and investigative activities.
• Produce comprehensive incident reports and keep documentation current.
• Monitor employee travel to high-risk areas and confirm compliance with travel safety protocols.
• Analyze information, investigate incidents, and collaborate with partners to protect Cisco employees and assets globally.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Global Security Operations Center or a comparable setting OR at least 4 years in another physical security position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to work outside standard hours for significant incidents or to cover shifts.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
• Experience in high-tech settings.
• Desire to learn new tools and procedures.
• Comfort in a remote, team-oriented work environment.
• Willingness to occasionally travel, including internationally, to support Cisco events or GMC operations on-site.
