Director, Business Persona Architecture and Governance

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the strategic persona framework across the domains of People, Process, Data, and Technology.

• Engage in key forums and program governance boards to evaluate and authorize designs and features that influence business personas.

• Serve as a strategic consultant to business leaders on managing resistance, communication, and strategies for persona adoption.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration among User Access Management, Security, ISRM, RAC, Training, and Data.

• Deliver thorough persona-based analytics and insights to inform decision-making and ensure compliance with GxP requirements.

• Coordinate impact assessments that consider ways of working, SOPs, training, communications, and downstream provisioning effects.

• Oversee upstream and downstream dependencies among teams.

• Facilitate role mapping execution and persona governance in partnership with global functional and local site business partners.

• Establish and report persona KPIs to program leadership, councils, and forums.

• Collaborate with peer groups to ensure comprehensive transparency in persona governance.

• Conduct maturity assessments and audits to enhance governance efficiency and compliance.

• Manage the retrospective cleanup of personas and address technical debt from previous releases.

• Design and implement business-wide persona strategies that align with the IM Transcend program, Operate State, and IM Digital Operating Model Principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• A bachelor's degree or higher is strongly preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of extensive leadership experience in delivering change management principles, persona/role-based methodologies, and a strong technical background.

• Profound expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations, with a strategic perspective on cross-functional dependencies and customer engagement points.

• Comprehensive experience in developing and implementing coordinated business architecture, advanced persona and identity management, and ensuring seamless data flows for effective persona mapping and transformative change adoption.

• Familiarity with methodologies such as user persona development, journey mapping, impact assessment, and mitigation and realization strategies.

• Outstanding customer management and influential abilities, with significant experience facilitating governance and leading senior leadership forums across various global and regional functions.

• Proven leadership in managing large-scale transformations within complex, regulated industries.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Extensive experience in directing technical debt remediation and governance initiatives.

• In-depth experience in navigating regulated environments (pharmaceutical/biotech), with a solid understanding of compliance-driven access requirements and enterprise risk management.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time.
