This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
β’ Acquire land, land rights, licenses, leases, permits, and other essential documents required for the construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities.
β’ Engage in a variety of intricate negotiations with landowners or their representatives.
β’ Resolve complicated damage claims related to property damage incurred during construction.
β’ Investigate courthouse and other records to ascertain property ownership and associated interests.
β’ Provide guidance and support in determining fair market values for the acquisition of land and land rights.
β’ Draft or oversee the preparation of rights-of-entry, damage claims, contracts, easements, licenses, leases, permits, options to purchase, and other project-related documents.
β’ Adhere to corporate health and safety policies.
β’ Undertake other assigned or necessary duties.
β’ Function in a field-based role involving 100% travel and remote project locations.
β’ Assist in pipeline and electric transmission project initiatives.
β’ High school diploma.
β’ 3 to 6 years of experience in Right of Way (ROW).
β’ Proficient in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, ArcGIS, and data management software.
β’ Understanding of real estate values and recognized real estate appraisal practices.
β’ Capability to work in remote locations for extended durations.
β’ Proficient in conducting complex negotiations with landowners or their representatives.
β’ Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism.
β’ Ability to satisfy the criteria outlined in the Job Demands & Conditions Analysis for Office and Field Positions.
β’ Capacity to stand and/or walk for extended periods on uneven and steep terrain, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
β’ Compliance with corporate health and safety policies.
