Revenue Integrity Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily maintenance and perform quarterly audits of the EAP.

• Prepare essential files for the EAP database concerning required departmental builds.

• Identify opportunities for charge capture or compliance issues within revenue-generating departments.

• Investigate billing and coding regulations.

• Communicate and assist in implementing any necessary changes that impact policies, finances, charge capture, patient care, billing, and coding operations.

• Assist in conducting quarterly audits on charge master data elements.

• Review accuracy of departmental front-end charge capture tools.

• Take appropriate actions to ensure accurate charging on patient accounts.

• Support complex audits and develop methodology for annual pricing reviews and coding changes.

• Serve as a liaison between Revenue Cycle, IT, and clinical departments to connect EPIC and charge master.

• Consistently delivers measurable and relevant results.

• Exhibits resilience and resourcefulness while employing strategic and practical approaches to problem-solving.

• Provide support to finance, operations, and revenue cycle teams through special projects.

• Maintain professional and technical expertise by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, building personal networks, adopting and implementing industry best practices, and engaging in professional societies.

• Safeguard operations by ensuring the confidentiality of financial and patient information.

• Support the financial operations of Northwestern Medicine.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, or 10+ years of equivalent progressive experience.

• 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, analytical, and accounting skills.

• High level of precision and attention to detail.

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

• Moderate to advanced understanding of CPT coding and third-party billing requirements.

• Knowledge and experience with Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
