Revenue Cycle System Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive analytical and statistical evaluations of the revenue cycle.

• Identify and address billing issues and related challenges within system applications.

• Serve as an internal liaison for the examination, research, analysis, and resolution of issues.

• Ensure the effective management of system-wide applications for integrated network operations.

• Assist in the development of procedures and standards.

• Update and maintain dictionary tables and system master files.

• Create testing scenarios.

• Prepare reports and documentation.

• Monitor project status.

• Communicate findings effectively.

• Provide training to staff as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, including a background in researching and analyzing billing issues, is required.

• Two (2) years of post-high school education is preferred.

• Experience in developing, implementing, operating, maintaining, or utilizing information systems in hospital and/or clinic environments is preferred.

• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC coding is preferred.

• Understanding of DRGs and APCs is preferred.

• Proficiency in organizing, prioritizing, and adjusting workloads.

• Capability to contribute to staff development through teaching, explanation, and example.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Willingness to accept responsibility.

• Competence in setting priorities and exercising good judgment.

• Residency in Washington State is required.
