This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for internal processes and source documents, providing guidance to team members within the department.

• Execute Revenue Cycle processes, manage queues in the Electronic Medical Records system, and resolve patient claims issues.

• Collaborate with leadership to oversee workflow management and resource allocation for the team.

• Participate in and co-facilitate meetings with various internal departments.

• Utilize Microsoft Office and EMR reporting tools to assist in team initiatives and fulfill leadership requests.

• Engage in cross-departmental project initiatives.

• Carry out responsibilities and maintain documentation in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and established workflows.

• Ensure adherence to work queue turnaround time standards.

• Contribute to ongoing process improvement efforts.

• Keep precise records while demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Promote the company's mission and values while adhering to Quality Management System policies and procedures.

• Maintain consistent and dependable attendance, completing assigned tasks promptly.

• Adjust to varying workloads and circumstances, responding swiftly to new information.

• Engage professionally and foster robust working relationships with Exact Sciences teams, clients, and colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a contact center, data entry, or customer service setting.

• At least 2 years of experience working with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Epic, and Onbase.

• More than 1 year of experience in a medical data entry role utilizing EMR systems.

• Demonstrated ability to address complex issues related to overall workflow processes.

• Familiarity with HIPAA Laws is essential.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance terminology is required.

• Understanding of laboratory terminology is preferred.

• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, with the ability to navigate multiple systems within order workflows and convert files into PDF format.

• Proven capability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodations.

• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

• Willingness to work designated hours and overtime as necessary.

• Ability to operate on a mobile device, tablet, or computer screen and perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical workday.
