This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee teams involved in revenue cycle operations at Huron Managed Service’s Domestic Business Office.
• Inspire staff to meet customer service, operational, and financial performance objectives.
• Manage both operational and financial performance while ensuring cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic priorities alongside daily revenue cycle operations management.
• Offer guidance and direction to teams to meet performance and productivity targets.
• Ensure staff members execute their duties effectively to maximize reimbursement based on services provided.
• Identify and apply solutions to team challenges and issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to address concerns and manage mail correspondence.
• Recognize and engage in continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Contribute to the redesign of processes and systems to enhance service, data integrity, and staff productivity/quality.
• Analyze trends and recommend solutions to problems and issues to leadership.
• Prepare service level metrics and detailed summaries for leadership review.
• Assess potential new hires and make recommendations for staffing decisions.
• Identify training requirements and coordinate training initiatives, including on-the-job training.
• Set performance standards and oversee staff activities relative to those standards.
• Provide timely feedback and conduct performance evaluations.
• Address performance issues among staff through counseling and disciplinary sessions.
• Develop and formalize improvement plans that encompass training, competency reviews, classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and coaching.
• Report directly to the Revenue Cycle Director.
• Complete additional duties as required and assigned.
• Must possess current permanent U.S. work authorization.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• At least five (5) years of experience in revenue management, specifically in Account Billing, Follow-up, Charge Integrity, Insurance Verification, or other revenue cycle functions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle operations and systems is required.
• Experience in a large, complex healthcare organization or significant revenue cycle services is preferred.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong supervisory skills with an emphasis on team building and effective leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to communicate effectively and collaborate with all staff levels.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare associated reports and summaries.
• Strong organizational skills in supervising direct reporting relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
