Revenue Cycle IDR Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert overseeing a specific client’s Out of Network inventory.

• Utilize project management and revenue cycle expertise to pinpoint trends and patterns that support strategic IDR dispute submissions.

• Prepare and submit Open Negotiation letters and IDR Disputes for both federal and state processes.

• Examine insurance cards and EOBs to ascertain whether a claim is Self Funded or Fully Funded.

• Generate reports to uncover trends and patterns within claims inventory and facilitate workflow, including bulk account actions.

• Cultivate relationships with Out of Network payers to establish claim settlement processes when applicable.

• Analyze data to discover enhancements in billing, claim reimbursement, and follow-up procedures.

• Validate analytics by utilizing data from client systems.

• Review payment patterns and denials from insurance companies to identify trends and irregularities.

• Reconcile inventory, which includes payments, adjustments, and returned accounts.

• Clearly present IDR findings to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with product management and implementation teams to enhance operational analytics for clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle analytics is preferred or equivalent experience in hospital accounts receivable claims management.

• Proficient in reviewing insurance cards, EOBs, and claims data.

• Familiarity with Revenue Cycle and various Revenue Cycle systems/applications.

• Must present a valid government-issued photo ID during screenings and/or interviews.

• Must agree to photograph capture during screening or interviews for identity verification, security, and record-keeping purposes.
