Revenue Cycle Analyst – Underpayments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate care contracts managed by physicians to ascertain anticipated reimbursement.

• Examine physician claims data to detect trends in contractual underpayments and billing inaccuracies.

• Address underpayments with third-party payers through written communication, payer portals, and telephone discussions.

• Collaborate with medical group clients to gather necessary information or data to address underpayments or rectify billing discrepancies.

• Generate reports and queries using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.

• Conduct forensic analysis of hospital claims data to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing hospital revenue and cash flow.

• Assist in claim pursuit, revenue recovery, managed care contracting, negotiation strategies, contract compliance, and collaborative activities between physicians and hospitals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of direct experience in the healthcare sector (e.g., medical assistant, billing and coding, healthcare technician).

• More than 1 year of experience in Physician Billing or Revenue Cycle.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.

• Understanding of both commercial and governmental healthcare reimbursement methods.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Access.

• Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach.
