Junior Database Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Support the administration of SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases, which includes their creation, maintenance, and updates.

• Enhance technical expertise in Oracle environments through participation in internal training, collaborative projects, and guided activities.

• Execute backup and recovery processes under supervision.

• Aid in monitoring database performance and generating reports.

• Manage database-related support tickets and provide assistance to users.

• Work alongside development teams to assess and improve SQL queries.

• Document procedures related to databases and create technical manuals.

• Assist in the implementation of fundamental security and access control measures.

• Support data migration efforts and version upgrades.

• Contribute to the maintenance, monitoring, and support of database environments to ensure data availability, security, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or in-progress bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Fundamental understanding of SQL and relational database administration.

• Familiarity with tools for database monitoring and backup.

• ITIL v3 Foundation certification or higher is preferred.

• MTA/MCSA SQL Server certification or an equivalent qualification is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of Oracle environments is preferred.

• Experience in roles related to database analysis or support is advantageous.
