Disability Case Analyst – Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Manage a dedicated caseload proactively, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and targeted turnaround times.

• Respond promptly to emails and phone inquiries.

• Evaluate claims considering contractual, medical, and vocational challenges.

• Foster relationships with plan sponsors, plan members, treatment providers, and internal collaborators.

• Guide cases towards successful return-to-work outcomes or job-resolution readiness.

• Compose letters conveying relevant benefit-related information based on analytical insights.

• Engage with plan members using resilience, emotional intelligence, and empathy.

• Deliver challenging claims-related decisions effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingualism in English and French is preferred; proficiency in both languages is essential for candidates located in Québec to assist clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

• A college or university degree in a healthcare discipline or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.

• Capable of making impactful decisions efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with disability management and/or group benefits is a plus.

• A background in a health-related field is beneficial.

• Proficient and comfortable in managing both incoming and outgoing calls.

• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

• Must be able to work remotely within Canada.
