Revenue Analyst, Grants & Financial Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Develop detailed donor proposal budgets.

• Direct financial reporting throughout the entire grant lifecycle.

• Oversee the matching and tracking of grant revenues and expenses via Water.org's funding map.

• Enhance fiscal sustainability and contribute to long-term financial strategies.

• Conduct monthly reviews of grant expenditures.

• Supervise preparations for audits.

• Ensure compliance with donor restrictions and internal financial policies.

• Act as a financial liaison among Revenue, FP&A, Accounting, and Global Program teams.

• Convert intricate grant structures into practical guidance on budgets, coding, and cost classifications.

• Identify opportunities for workflow efficiencies.

• Utilize financial systems and AI tools to enhance data integrity.

• Develop technical solutions that improve grant portfolio management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent relevant professional experience.

• At least four years of experience in financial management, including financial analysis of budgets, forecasts, planning, reporting, and accounting.

• Strong grasp of grant financial principles and administration.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Practical experience in constructing and managing grant budgets.

• Fundamental accounting knowledge, including debits/credits, reconciliations, and net asset schedules.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Capability to independently create and troubleshoot complex financial analyses and models across extensive datasets.

• Willingness to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.
