Retirement Plan Distribution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the entire process of retirement plan distribution and loan requests from inception to completion.

• Verify documentation for accuracy and thoroughness.

• Assemble distribution and loan packages, including vesting verification for relevant plans.

• Detect loan defaults and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).

• Liaise with participants, plan sponsors, financial advisors, and recordkeepers regarding requests and their status updates.

• Investigate and address participant and client inquiries.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping and workflow updates within internal systems.

• Act as a backup for participant service phone support.

• Provide assistance with data entry and other operational support tasks as necessary.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of retirement plan distribution and loan regulations.

• Complete industry certifications, including NIPA's Distribution Administrator and Loan Administrator programs.

• Keep updated on cybersecurity, compliance, and company protocols.

• Foster strong working relationships with plan sponsors, vendors, and internal team members.

• Carry out other related duties as needed.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in processing retirement plan distributions and loans.

• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Strong time-management and prioritization abilities.

• Experience with PensionPro, Corbel, or similar retirement plan administration systems is a plus.

• Must reside in the USA and be authorized to work for any US employer.
