This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Propel sales growth and ensure the successful integration of CYKLX™ within Retina Specialty accounts
• Establish and nurture relationships with Retina specialists, technicians, office managers, practice leadership, benefits verification staff, and billing personnel
• Provide product and clinical education
• Implement territory sales strategies and promotional initiatives
• Meet territory sales objectives, activity metrics, and distribution goals
• Introduce CYKLX™ to Retina Specialists within the buy-and-bill therapeutic injection sector
• Conduct in-office visits, product presentations, and staff training
• Assist in executing intravitreal injection protocols that integrate CYKLX™ as a pre-injection anesthetic
• Represent the organization at local society gatherings, customer events, and educational seminars
• Oversee territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive actions within the territory
• Maintain CRM documentation, call records, sampling logs, and customer information
• Aid with in-office ordering, inventory management, billing, and reimbursement processes
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and cross-functional teams
• Relay voice-of-customer insights to sales leadership, marketing, and medical teams
• Support national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot projects, and conference activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional standards, and regulatory requirements
• Manage territory budget, travel arrangements, samples, and promotional materials
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director, Retina
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales
• At least 2 years in buy-and-bill therapeutics or medical device sales
• Prior eyecare experience targeting Retina Specialists is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of total account management in complex product sales environments
• Proven track record in territory management, building customer relationships, and achieving sales goals
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
• Experience working collaboratively with Field Reimbursement Manager and Medical Science Liaison teams
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory, with overnight travel required
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Ability to travel within the territory 90% of the time, which may include long drives, short flights, and overnight stays
• Capability to accurately understand and communicate technical information
• Competence in following instructions, work rules, company policies, and safety practices
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage standard workplace demands
• Capacity to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
• Proficiency in applying judgment and reasoning to work-related challenges
