This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Accelerate sales growth and ensure successful implementation of CYKLX™ within Retina Specialty accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders in practices.
• Provide product knowledge and clinical education.
• Implement territory sales strategies to meet sales, activity, and distribution targets.
• Apply selling tactics and promotional strategies at the practice level.
• Conduct in-office visits, product presentations, and staff training.
• Establish consultative relationships with Retina specialists, technicians, office managers, practice leadership, benefits verification, and billing personnel.
• Offer clinical education and logistical support while assisting with the implementation of intravitreal injection protocols.
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs within the territory.
• Carry out approved educational programs and meetings for physicians and staff.
• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities within the territory.
• Maintain documentation in CRM, including call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Assist with in-office ordering, inventory management, billing, and reimbursement processes.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, marketing, medical, and other cross-functional teams.
• Provide feedback from customers to sales leadership, marketing, and medical teams.
• Support national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot programs, and conference activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the territory budget, travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in medical sales.
• A minimum of 2 years in buy-and-bill therapeutics or medical device sales.
• Experience in eyecare with a proven record of success in engaging Retina Specialists is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of total account management in complex product sales pull-through.
• Proven track record in territory management, building customer relationships, and achieving sales results.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience collaborating with Field Reimbursement Manager and Medical Science Liaison teams.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory daily, including overnight stays as required.
• Self-motivated with robust organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to travel over 90% of the time within the territory, including long drives, short flights, and overnight accommodations.
• Capability to accurately understand and convey technical information.
• Ability to adhere to instructions, work rules, company policies, and safety and security protocols.
• Competency in meeting deadlines and managing typical workplace demands.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Proficiency in applying judgment and reasoning to resolve work-related issues.
