This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Propel sales growth and ensure the effective implementation of CYKLX™ in Retina Specialty accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with Retina specialists, technicians, office managers, practice leadership, benefits verification staff, and billing personnel.
• Provide product and clinical education while assisting in the implementation of intravitreal injection protocols.
• Execute sales strategies, tactics, and promotional approaches within the territory.
• Conduct in-office visits, product detailing, and staff training.
• Represent the organization at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Implement approved educational programs and meetings for physicians and staff.
• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and customer segmentation.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities within the territory.
• Maintain precise CRM documentation, call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Support in-office ordering processes, inventory management, billing, and reimbursement tasks.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide customer feedback to sales leadership, marketing, and medical teams.
• Assist with national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot projects, and conference activities.
• Adhere to company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the territory budget, encompassing travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Engage in team training, national meetings, and skills development sessions.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director for Retina.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales.
• At least 2 years of experience in buy and bill therapeutics or medical device sales.
• Experience in eyecare, particularly with a successful track record calling on Retina Specialists, is strongly preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of total account management in complex product sales pull-through.
• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and achieving sales results.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with Field Reimbursement Manager and Medical Science Liaison teams.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory, with overnight travel required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to travel within the territory over 90% of the time, including long drives, short flights, and/or overnight stays.
• Capability to accurately understand and convey technical information.
• Ability to adhere to instructions, work rules, company policies, and safety practices.
• Competence in meeting deadlines and managing typical workplace demands.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Ability to apply judgment and reasoning to address work-related challenges.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
