This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Propel sales growth and facilitate the successful integration of CYKLX™ within Retina Specialty accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with Retina specialists, technicians, office managers, practice leadership, benefits verification staff, and billing personnel.
• Provide product and clinical education.
• Implement territory sales strategies and promotional techniques at the practice level.
• Conduct in-office visits, product detailing, and staff training.
• Aid in the adoption of intravitreal injection protocols incorporating CYKLX™ as a pre-injection anesthetic.
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Execute sanctioned educational programs and meetings for physicians and staff.
• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities within the territory.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation, call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Assist with in-office ordering, inventory management, billing, and reimbursement processes.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide customer feedback to sales leadership, marketing, and medical teams.
• Support national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot programs, and conference activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee territory budget, travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Participate in team training, national meetings, and skills development sessions.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in medical sales.
• At least 2+ years in buy and bill therapeutics or medical device sales.
• Experience in eyecare with a proven track record calling on Retina Specialists is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of total account management in complex product sales pull-through.
• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and driving sales results.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and experience working with Field Reimbursement Manager and Medical Science Liaison teams.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory daily, with overnight travel as needed.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to travel within the territory more than 90% of the time, which may include long drives, short flights, and/or overnight stays.
• Capacity to accurately understand and communicate technical information.
• Ability to adhere to instructions, work rules, company policies, and safety and security practices.
• Capability to meet deadlines and handle normal workplace demands.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Proficient in applying judgment and reasoning to work-related issues.
