This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Drive sales growth and ensure successful adoption of CYKLX™ within Retina Specialty accounts.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare professionals and practice stakeholders.
• Provide product and clinical education.
• Implement territory sales strategies and promotional initiatives.
• Meet territory sales objectives, activity metrics, and distribution targets.
• Conduct in-office visits, product detailing, and staff education.
• Develop consultative relationships with Retina specialists, technicians, office managers, practice leadership, benefits verification, and billing personnel.
• Offer clinical education and logistical support for intravitreal injection protocols.
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and territory-level educational programs.
• Facilitate approved physician and staff educational programs and meetings.
• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation.
• Analyze territory sales data, market trends, and competitive activities.
• Maintain CRM documentation, call notes, sampling logs, and customer data.
• Assist with in-office ordering, inventory, billing, and reimbursement processes.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, marketing, medical, and other cross-functional teams.
• Provide actionable feedback based on the voice-of-customer.
• Support national campaigns, sampling initiatives, pilot projects, and conference activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee territory budget, travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Participate in team training, national meetings, and ongoing skill development sessions.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director, Retina.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of medical sales experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in buy-and-bill therapeutics or medical device sales.
• Eyecare experience, particularly with success in engaging Retina Specialists, is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge in total account management related to complex product sales pull-through.
• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and driving sales results.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working alongside Field Reimbursement Managers and Medical Science Liaison teams.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory, including overnight stays as necessary.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to travel within the territory over 90% of the time, which includes long drives, short flights, and overnight stays.
• Capability to understand and accurately communicate technical information.
• Ability to adhere to instructions, work rules, company policies, and safety and security practices.
• Competence in meeting deadlines and managing typical workplace demands.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Capability to apply judgment and reasoning to work-related issues.
