This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Drive sales growth and ensure the successful adoption of CYKLX™ within Retina Specialty accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with Retina specialists, technicians, office managers, practice leadership, benefits verification staff, and billing personnel.
• Implement territory sales strategies, selling techniques, and promotional initiatives.
• Conduct in-office visits, provide product detailing, and deliver staff education.
• Offer clinical education and logistical support.
• Aid in the implementation of intravitreal injection protocols that incorporate CYKLX™ as a pre-injection anesthetic.
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Organize physician and staff educational programs and meetings.
• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation.
• Analyze territory sales data, market trends, and competitive activities.
• Maintain CRM documentation, call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Support in-office ordering, inventory management, billing, and reimbursement processes.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide voice-of-customer feedback to sales leadership, marketing, and medical teams.
• Support national campaigns, sampling programs, pilot initiatives, and conference activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Manage the territory budget, which includes travel, samples, and promotional materials.
• Participate in team training, national meetings, and ongoing skills development sessions.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director, Retina.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales.
• At least 2 years of experience in buy and bill therapeutics or medical device sales.
• Experience in eyecare with a proven track record of calling on Retina Specialists is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of total account management in complex product sales pull-through.
• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and driving sales results.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience collaborating with Field Reimbursement Managers and Medical Science Liaison teams.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory, with overnight travel as needed.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to accurately understand and communicate technical information.
• Ability to adhere to instructions, work rules, company policies, and safety and security practices.
• Capacity to meet deadlines and manage standard workplace demands.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Skill in applying judgment and reasoning to address work-related issues.
