This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Drive sales growth and facilitate the successful adoption of CYKLX™ within Retina Specialty accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with Retina specialists, technicians, office managers, practice leadership, benefits verification personnel, and billing personnel.
• Provide product and clinical education while assisting in the implementation of intravitreal injection protocols.
• Execute sales strategies, selling tactics, and promotional initiatives within the territory.
• Conduct in-office visits, product detailing, and staff training sessions.
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level.
• Implement approved educational programs and meetings for physicians and staff.
• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation effectively.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities within the territory.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation, call notes, sampling logs, and customer information.
• Assist with in-office ordering, inventory management, billing, and reimbursement processes.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and other cross-functional teams.
• Provide voice-of-customer insights to sales leadership, marketing, and medical teams.
• Support national campaigns, sampling programs, pilot initiatives, and conference-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Manage the territory budget, which includes travel expenses, samples, and promotional materials.
• Participate in team training, national meetings, and ongoing skills development sessions.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director, Retina.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales.
• At least 2 years of experience in buy and bill therapeutics or medical device sales.
• Previous eyecare experience with a successful track record of calling on Retina Specialists is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of total account management in complex product sales pull-through.
• Proven success in managing territories, building customer relationships, and driving sales results.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Field Reimbursement Manager and Medical Science Liaison teams.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory, including overnight travel as needed.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to travel more than 90% of the time within the territory, including long drives, short flights, and overnight stays.
• Competence in understanding and accurately communicating technical information.
• Ability to adhere to instructions, work rules, company policies, and safety and security practices.
• Capability to meet deadlines and manage typical workplace demands.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Strong judgment and reasoning skills to address work-related challenges.
