Retail Representative – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Promote, distribute, and merchandise Mars Petcare products at retail locations throughout the designated Edmonton territory.

• Establish and maintain distribution for assigned products.

• Present display programs to clients and recommend orders.

• Introduce and sell booking sheets to retail stores.

• Ensure products are adequately stocked and displayed with appropriate store price tags.

• Restock display fixtures, including Mars Petcare racks.

• Acquire secondary space with customers for display construction.

• Implement POS and other marketing materials as needed.

• Rotate products on shelves and in backrooms to guarantee quality and freshness.

• Keep customer information, survey records, and tracking data updated in field sales data collection software.

• Manage territory coverage in an efficient and effective manner.

• Plan and organize route schedules according to the company's call coverage model.

• Keep the ASM informed about territory activities.

• Ensure adequate merchandising supplies and POS materials are maintained.

• Adhere to company protocols for processing credits and cheques.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma is required.

• Must be able to lift products weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Capability to drive approximately 100 km daily while making sales visits.

• Ability to perform repetitive movements, including entering and exiting a vehicle, bending, leaning, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping.

• Must be able to secure the level of vehicle insurance coverage specified by Mars Canada Inc.

• Valid Canadian driver's license is mandatory.

• Sales experience is considered an asset.

• Availability to work 3 days (24 hours) per week is required.
