Retail Representative, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Sell, distribute, and promote Mars Petcare products at retail locations throughout all channels within a designated area in Edmonton.

• Ensure the sale and distribution of assigned products is maintained effectively.

• Present display programs to clients and recommend orders accordingly.

• Introduce and sell booking sheets to retail stores.

• Guarantee that products are well-stocked and properly showcased with appropriate store pricing labels.

• Restock display fixtures, including Mars Petcare racks.

• Obtain additional space from customers for promotional displays.

• Implement POS and other marketing materials where applicable.

• Rotate products on shelves and in backrooms to uphold quality and freshness.

• Maintain customer, survey, and tracking data using field sales software.

• Efficiently and effectively manage territory coverage.

• Strategically plan and organize route schedules in accordance with the company’s call coverage model.

• Keep the ASM informed about territory activities.

• Ensure adequate supplies of merchandising and POS materials are maintained.

• Adhere to company procedures for processing credits and cheques.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma is required.

• Capability to lift products weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to drive approximately 100 km daily while making sales calls.

• Competence in sustaining repeated movements, such as entering and exiting a vehicle, bending, leaning, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping.

• Sales experience is advantageous.

• Must secure the level of vehicle insurance coverage required by Mars Canada Inc.

• A valid Canadian driver’s license is necessary.

• Availability to work 3 days (24 hours) per week.
